Key Take-Away Points

1. Step in onto the toes with lead leg
2. Swing kicking leg forward and up and rear arm back for power

3. At the required height, rotate hip and pivot of standing leg toes
4. Use hip and core to direct kick sideways and generate power
5. Keep Hands up or in Cross-block position
6. The more you rotate hip and core whilst pivoting on standing leg, the more power will be generated in the kick
